Things to say about Jason:
It is the little things that are hardest, the teasing I won’t hear anymore. His calls to Bill, early morning to wake him up, during every game they had a bet on, stupid wagers. Playing truth or dare and Jason mooning me, making Bill sing “I’m a little teapot” in the street at 1:00 am. His harassing Bill about his wardrobe, the girls about school and dates. Mini-raps – discussions on every topic – politics and philosophy being favorites. Always laughing, smiling, joking, understanding he could relax and be himself with us and us with him.
There is a tear in the fabric of our lives. We will make repairs, patch the hole, rework the design, but it will never be the same. I am told the intense pain will fade and the memories will bring smiles again, not just tears.
My sadness is selfish, but we were spoiled. It is the quality of his relationships that will be hard to find again, the warmth and love he gave so freely.
I am jealous of the angels – they have him now. I will be good so that we can laugh together again someday.

Dear Carolyn and family,
I remember both you and Jason from his days in the high school department at Second Baptist where I was one of the bible study teachers. I remember him because he was always smiling! My heart goes out to you and your family. I have prayed for you so many times since I learned of Jason's death yesterday at church, and will continue to pray for you in the days ahead.

I have never known anyone so rich with life as Jason. He was always giving and loving, never asking for anything in return. He will always be in my mind, for he made me realize just how precious our lives really are.
Thank you for one last lesson in this life Jason. And I know God has already blessed you with eternal life so let me say it was a blessing for me to be able to call you my friend. May God bless and ease the suffering of the DeLecour family.
I love and will miss you my brother.

Dear Ms. Delecour and Friends of Jason,
As we all know GOD has taken another one of his angels with him and this time it was one that we all knew and loved.. Even back in High School.. He was the one man that turned me on to Christ and I can only say that if it were not for his love for GOD I would not be where I am today.. I could never imagine a day where I had to face a day like this, but after knowing Jason's relationship with the Lord I without a shadow of a doubt that Jason is up in that beautiful place we called Heaven playing Golf with our friend Bryan Morton...So you guys, please be careful on where you swing, but always know that you will always be remembered for being so unique.. It was really ironic after all these years of being out of High School to have seen your smiling face last year at my office.
Take care my sweet angel and hope to see you again one day.. GOD Bless and Carolyn, I am thinking of you always..
Love,
Kim

Jason was such a great guy. We are blessed to have known him for the periods we did. He had amazing potential but to say that is to understate all that he accomplished in his life. Visit http://www.jasondelecour.com to contribute to a memorial webpage and charitable fund for Jason.

My dear Carolyn,
Words cannot begin to express my sorrow. Jason was not only your light but the light of all of the lives he touched. As a little boy and young man he was outstanding, respectful, brilliant, compassionate, understanding, fun loving and adorable. No greater son could there have been and no greater blessing to those who knew and loved him.
My love and prayers are with you,
Charity

I have known Jason since high school. He has always had a sense of responsibility, chivalry and love of God. What a shock to receive an email that says that he has been taken from here on earth. Jason, I am blessed to have known you. You will always hold a special place in my heart.
God rest and keep you.

To Carolyn and Family. Although Jason and I hadn't seen each other in some time, we were very close in highschool. I have many fond memories of our trip through Europe back in 1985. It was great to hear your voice yesterday. I hope God gives you strength to get through your loss. I know he is in a much better place, but it is a loss for all who knew him that he is no longer here with us.
God bless you, Carolyn.

Jason, was an amazing and wonderful man. He was absolutely incapable of seeing the bad in anyone...which may be why he could love more deeply and truly than any human being I have ever known. His goodness was the stuff of angels. Perhaps that was what he was...an angel, sent to us from God to light our lives with goodness, love, loyalty and joy. He was taken from us far too soon, but his soul will live on through us and act as a well from which we can all give to others. I love you, Jason DeLecour. May God bless you and keep you. Please look down upon us and give your mother, family and friends the strength we need to carry on in this world without you.

I was introduced to Jason by John West. The time that we all spent together was never dull, whether we were sitting around the apartment playing the guitar and singing or out on the town. Jason always had the brightest smile on his face. He was an extemely loyal friend to all that were blessed to know him. He will be greatly missed.

Dear Carolyn and family,
I was so sadden to hear about Jason. He was such a wonderful young man who had such a good head on his shoulders. I enjoyed hearing tales of his adventures which were relayed to me by Mimi and PePaw. Carolyn, please know that I am thinking about you and will be praying for you. We now have another guardian angel to watch over us.

I met Jason through business transactions for our Company SIPCO, Inc. He helped me with all of our foreign transactions and I always knew that if I had any questions he would have an answer for me. I was in shock when I called for him Friday morning and Charles with the foreign exchange group informed me of the terrible news. My heart goes out to his family and I would just like to say that you will be in my prayers and I know God will give you the strength to endure this terrible loss. Jason, all of us at SIPCO will miss you terribly. God Bless!

Jason was such a fine young man. He was an example, of what could be achieved in such a short life span. He was always a good friend to my daughter April and son-in-law Ben. He was in the waiting room when our granddaughter was born, for support. We felt close to him and find his passing a personal loss. May God bless him.

I first met Jason through John West as I was asked to help move a friend. Jason and Troy moved from Chimney Rock to the Pinnacle Apts. As bachelors, we had a great time and did many fun things. Jason broke my nose while we were playing basketball on a 9 foot goal, John West was there too. Further fun ensued with flag football and great times at our beach house for Mardi Gras. He was a best man in my wedding and a best man in life. We will miss you. - The Bailey's.

We have known Jason for several years. Our nephew, Troy West and Jason were best friends since high school. On several occasions, Jason came to our house for dinner, to watch a football game, to play a game of basketball, play cards, or to just hang out with our family. Jason was always a pleasure to have around. The room would light up when he walked through the door. Jason you will remain in our hearts, and our memories of you will be cherished forever.

To the family of Jason,
Jason had been very helpful to me regarding business transactions of my company, Kildrummy Inc. I was in deep shock when Sandy Kaleh of Chase called me this morning to relay the sad news. I am sure Jason is in peace with the almighty Lord. Jason will be dearly missed by us at Kildrummy. Jason, I want to thank you for all the help in the past.
May the Lord give you the strength to bear the loss of your beloved one.
